lost but not ignored...
LOST ?
perhaps but...
she never ignores me.
with bits to fix,
skin to wash,
tanks to empty,
only to fill again...
tires to rotate
and brake to squeeze
and a water pump 2 replace, yet again...
it's thursday and i like my airstream because...
she's already looking for another cosmic event...
on the endless summer tour.
celeste la vi!
cheers

the 1983 34' Excella is so much warmer and cozier than the 1967 24' Trade Wind. Cold and sleet this morning.

well it's here folks...
thursday, v
day, the forums (6th birthday) and so on...
while i munch on chocolate and sip espresso i'm looking at the dirty, salty, a/s outside....
it's thursday and i like my airstream because...
she seems to have weathered these 3 weeks of frigidity,
without giving me a cold shoulder or any new drips...
and as the temps warm i catch the whispers...
"pull me closer john deere" ...
apparently the current layer of crust on her shades,
has her confusing the tv with a tractor...
now where is that groundhog?
cheers

Because the Moss Family Argosy sits patiently awaiting me to finish repairing the damage the storms brought to its fine exterior....no grumbles even, not a word or mumble.
Take care.

When I am ready to go, so is she. And we are ready to go to Deadhorse 2 and the PEEPS! I know she can get me there even though it snowed again last night and is supposed to snow tonight. I think we can, I think we can, I know we will.
Okay, so Santa hasn't left yet. He's stuck...

Stream 1529 - Because in three short weeks I'll be burning my calendar and taking off my watch. I'm retiring, and my last day will be 12/21!!
Tom - Congratulations on your retirement!!! I'm just now getting back on the Forums, so my best wishes are quite late. I hope you & the wife can find the time to really get out there more.
Wouldn't it be way cool if there was any way to take your fine AS to China? Are you going on that trip too?
Hoping to see ya'll on the road one day.

I'm loving my Airstream because tomorrow... I'm living up to my screen name.
We'll be on our way to Deadhorse 2.
Four days in my favorite place. The desert.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream...................
............ Because it is not Thursday.
Thursday, I was at work for 12 hours and did'nt have the
opportunity to take time to think.... no, dream about my Airstream.
However, today is Sunday. It is quite cold here with all things
being covered in freezing rain. There is a distinct patter on the roof
...... and I recall how relaxing it is to fall asleep at night
to the sound of rain on aluminum. Just like a lullabye.
