Its thursday an we like our Airstream because,

It is about to take us camping with 8 other families ( five of which we have not seen since high school) We will be the center point for the group and use the Airstream for the others who are coming for the day to find us! I think the Flamingo on the flag pole will be the only one in the park.

Because . . .

it sits patiently waiting to head to DeSoto State Park in the Little River Canyon of NE Alabama tomorrow ASAP. Even with a heat index of 107 degrees, it's cool to travel in silver.

It is Thursday and I love my Airstream because

my brother and sister in law are coming up from the Floriday Keys Sunday with their 'new' 1968 Airstream. We are heading to the mountains of North Carolina for a week. Also love my Airstream now because it was the first of four in our family. My uncle and my father also have one each. They saw how much I enjoyed working on ours and caught the aluminitis for themselves. Still working on a few others in the family.

She's ready to go on Sunday to Dan Nichloas Park in Salisbury, NC. We are taking our two 7 year old grands on their first camping trip. This should be a test for all but we are hoping for some dry weather and no mosquitos!

Thumbs up

It's Thursday and I love our Airstream...Because I am working from home and she is loaded up, hitched up, and ready to roll. We are pulling her to Penn Wood for the long Independence Day weekend for our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson to stay in while we stay in our '87 34'. Wait a minute...how does that work??? They get the newer one while my wife and I re staying in the older one!!! The things we do for our children and grandchildren. It's time they get an Airstream of their own...if I can only get my daughter and wife to let me and my son-in-law spend the money needed to get them one.

Everybody have a safe and happy Independence Day weekend.

Even though we will be home for the holiday, I still love our Airstream because in just two weeks she will take us to Grayton Beach, FL for a week at the beach before the wife and boys go back to school. BTW, where is the summer going?

...I'm sitting in the middle of Burlington, VT yet I'm surrounded by trees and steps from the beach. My wife and kids are sleeping peacefully and I'm next door in my parent's coach sharing their company.

We're in the middle of a two week trip up through Vermont and back down through the Adirondacks having a wonderful time together.

enjoy,
leo

I love our Airstream because it took us pretty much without incident through the West, and now is cleaned, repacked and ready to go to the river this weekend for some fishing and fellowship with family and friends.

I love my Argosy even more since it's all freshly painted and more beautiful than ever. Had a little fridge issue the last couple days but it's doing well now so that makes me happy too.
We're loading her up for our trip out to Rushmore, The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier. We leave in 2 weeks!

My wife starts the week of August 3rd. The kids start back on August 10th. Our county is on a modified year 'round school calendar. They get a long weekend in October, the full week of Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, the week of Presidents day (third week of February), a week off for Spring Break (first week of April) and then they are finished with school at Memorial Day Weekend. My wife has to do post-planning the 2-3 days after Memorial Day and then they have about 9 weeks of summer break. I takes a while to remember all the days and it compresses the amount of weeks available for vacation travel during the summer, but my wife and kids like the schedule...most parents don't seem to though.

It is Monday, but we love our airstream because on Thurs we leave for our 3rd trip this year. Heading south to visit family, with a couple stops down and back. Gold Beach, Oregon (on way down) and camping on the Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon on the way back. Can't wait.

When I was a kid living in a no red light town in Texas I would see the beautiful Airstreams trailers go by with there, big red letters and dream that one day I would be able to travel the America we studied about in geography class. My dream came true this year when we purchased Happy. Airperson

It's Thursday and were packed and ready to hit the road afterwork today. This will be our 10th trip so far for the year. The heat is going to be in the triple digits today and into the weekend, so we are off to the beautiful coast of Bodega Bay, California. Have a great weekend all and see you down the road.

Its Thursday and I love my airstream because.......
.....it makes mehappy every time I climb on to the metal popping step and enter my rolling beach house...even if its sitting in the drive, I feel transported to a carefree happy place......is it the play house I never had as a kid??
