it's thursday and i like my airstream because...
- all the new ledz are cool (literally)
-the updated stove hood vent as 2 lights
so i can finally SEE the chow that's cookin'
-the stream enjoys being parked where the reflections of...
the boomz and flashes coming this weekend can mingle with the foil wrapper...
and
-it's not gonna rain...
cheers
2air'

Packed up and heading to Jersey Shorehaven Airstream Park for the long weekend. Fingers crossed that we have one more rig joining in the fun so Rally rates will apply this weekend!

Just returned from Fort Wilderness at Disney with the refurbished '22 and she was great. Had a perfect pre-birthday week for our daughter and the campground/camping was perfect.

Don't know where you are, 2Air, but Palmer Lake has the "best small town boomz and flashes in Colorado."
Plus, I got two Airstreams in the back yard to work on and Kip is going to help me bend some aluminum tonight! ... the Sovereign is getting closer to being ready for BM.

because it's summer in the city! Well not quite city and not quite summer feel weather either, but you get the point. Viva the seasons difference! July in Michigan and the night time temperature was upper 40s and today the sun is shining and 71 degrees.
We had a campfire last night between the Airstreams and the stars and moon and temperatures were all cool.
As they say, or so they should, even a drydocked day with an Airstream is better than a good day without an Airstream. We spend a lot of time in the Airstreams and enjoy them very much.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream...
because there were no major problems driving the 40 mile dirt & gravel rode from Hope, B.C. to Hozomeen (and back) - just a few inconveniences
because of all the windows, we had great views of mama bear and baby bear as they wandered close to our campsite, eating berries and turning over rocks
because having an indoor potty at night is really nice to have when you keep seeing mama bear and baby bear all over during the day
Awesome trip!

I LOVE my Airstream
After seven years of ownership we still think she is the best Airstream ever! She was built in 1993 and is still beautiful and functional. Last year she was our home for 9 weeks as we traveled throughout the western United States on our unemployment tour of America. *Nothing* makes me happier than seeing Leon pulling "The Tube" out of our barn for a weekend or longer adventure. We are planning to take her to Alaska in the future - she's been there before (with a prior owner). I'm sure she will remember how to get there!

Because it's just so darned cool!
No camping this weekend, but we're helping our friends get their new to them 1979 International Ambassador fixed up. Next on the list: getting the water system functional again. It wasn't winterized properly, and, well, you can guess what happened.
But working on their trailer brings back all the fun & excitement of getting ours a few years ago - it's great to be able to share that with good friends!
I love my Argosy!!!

Because I got the Safari home today, finally in good enough shape that I could take her out of the rented barn. Yay!
See you all the the RMVAC (a little late) in the Overlander.

Because we're camped in her all month long in Wy, MT and SD. It's 57F here in Grand Teton NP and another Airstream is just two doors away enjoying the escape from Houston, TX where the THI is 106F at last report.

Because tomorrow we will head out to Beverly Beach for four days of camping! We're going to escape the 90+ degree heat in Portland and enjoy 60's/70's on the coast instead. Whee!

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because .....
tomorrow we are travelling to the Autumn Gathering of UK Airstreamers at Ludlow, Shropshire and looking forward to meeting the other 29 Airstreamers that are attending the event.
This could be the biggest meet of Airstreams in our country.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because last night I tried the furnace and it worked! I'm still going to take it out for a good cleaning though.
