I moved into my airstream partly to save money during the transition from graduate school and partly because I would far rather live in it by the lake than in my apartment in town. Anyone need a neuroscientist?
well rodney an airstream by the lake beats an apartment anywhere....and on any day.
it also greatly exceeds the vw microbus i used for that transition...
i'm sure you'll find the job of your dreams....there is a rumor afloat that most people have brains.
they WILL need service.

It's Thursday (well, almost...on the east coast)....
and I love my Airstream because...she's once again in my driveway awaiting a weekend get away! I get to show "Margo" off to my camping buddies who have not got to see her in person yet!
It's loaded and ready to go for a long weekend of camping. This will be our first time to camp at Sardis this year and first time to show off the Airstream to our camping buddies. We had a pop up for the last 2 years what a change. It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream because the locksmith is also coming to install the new lock.
Today I am going to apply all the great advice received from forum members to make the Airstream even nicer! The forum is another reason I like the Airstream. Take a bow forum folks!!

Because when I woke up in mine today it was a fine spring morning to sit out side, have a cup of coffee and read the paper. I think I may turn out to be pretty good at this full timing business
because Sparky has awakened from her long winter's nap. All systems checked, skin washed & walbernized, tanks polished, floor waxed, nameplates replaced, wheels shined, leaks sealed...in other words, ready to camp!

it's thursday and i like my airstream because......
sometimes while camping.....
like right now.....
the trailer....
seems....
to...
merge....
naturally.....
with the surroundings.....
where does the airstream end...
and the location begin....
only the minds eye...
can decide.....
upon...
reflection.
cheers

Next Thursday I will be camping in King's Canyon National Park (weather permitting) with my 4 1/2 year old daughter, my dad and my two brothers. My brothers and I haven't camped together in over 30 years. My dad has SOB fifth wheel and I a Bambi. My younger brother will be my daughter's and my 'guest' and my older brother will be my dad's 'guest.' It'll be a little tight with three of us in the Bambi, but, hey it doesn't happen very often. My dad and I get out on the road together a couple of times a year. I don't miss a chance to do some camping with him--if you can still go camping with your dad, life is good.

Becky
Becky-our camping resumes mirror each other---two years in a pop up then onto an Airstream-life can't get any better!
Thursday is becoming my favorite day of the week because
Last Thursday we started the season driveway camping. This Thursday the adventures truely begin. We are venturing off for 4 days, my wife and I, two dogs and of course our Airstream. See you all on Sunday.
