It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because we are here at Pismo Coast Village in Pismo Beach, CA (central coast), surrounded by over 200 vintage trailers, many of which are Airstreams. There are also many late model Airstreams here for the event. We have made new friends and are feeling the love. There was an "open house" today (Saturday) which allowed us to take a peek inside of as many as we could squeeze in. What an awesome experience. So much hard work, time, and labored love went into restoring these beauties. Wish you all could be here!

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because today she gets the new Sealand Lo-Profile Traveler installed. Well, I loved her long before this but now I'll love her even more.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstreams [plural] because every little thing I do to improve them makes them more alive. I get to read this thread with its humor and affection for these vessels, and that is the true core of this entire site.

This Thursday I got Can-Am to install a receiver, transmission fluid cooler and P3 controller on my new (to me) 2007 Ford Freestar Sport.
So now I will be soon able to love towing my Sovereign Of The The Road.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because after work tomorrow we will be heading to Stone Mountain, GA for the Memorial Day Weekend and I will be flying my USA flag all weekend!
It will be nice to see the laser show again, no matter how corny some think it may be. It will be our first time camping at Stone Mountain so we are looking forward to it.
Happy Memorial Day everybody and God bless all those who have defended our country and the freedoms America stands for and especially those who paid the highest price in our defense.

We love our Airstream because this Thursday found us up near the Blue Ridge Parkway with a chance to camp and visit with old friends enjoying the Memorial Day weekend together once again.

It's Thursday and what a rush! I am back home from working "in real world". Just had my AS for two weeks. Growing up in the 50's I watched these silver beauties roll by! I look forward to every Thursday and all those great memories of the 50's anchored to working on my " silver beauty"!! What a group of good people wander around on this sight and answer my questions after my " Thursday" nostalgia feast!!

Crawfish Fest Bound
AYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!
It's thursday and I love my Airstream because she is hitched up and chomping at the bit to be on the road on our way to the Crawfish Fest Rally in New Jersey. The forums will be represented by 14, count 'em 14 Airstreams. Last year there were only two or three. Maybe next year we can fill Camp Madisonville with silver.
I want to send out a big thanks to Frank (62Overlander) for brining this cajun music and food festival to our collective attention and for putting this s oirée togeter.

I love my Airstream because she is always ready to go any time we can get time away. We are planning a trip sometime within the next couple of weeks after having spent Memorial Day at Stone Mountain Park in Metro Atlanta. Despite the wet, dreary weekend she gave us a great time.

We picked up 2 new axles last Thursday. Today, Thursday, I will remove one of the 43 year old axles. The new shocks and their mounting brackets were back ordered are in transit. Next Thursday all will be well again.

The fresh, clean, "as-new" looking ceiling and brand new bulbs and lenses on the ceiling fixtures make Thursday a more beautiful day, despite the fog and rain.
Who could have thought that just a wet rag and Mr. Clean straight out of the jug could bring it back to the brightness the ceiling had on the day it rolled out of Jackson Center 35 years ago!
Now, I need to find either the correct paint for the antenna handle, or a new handle, PLUS the little white crank handles for the vent actuators.
Next Thursday!

New Stuff!
It's Thursday and I like my Airstream Argosy because my cushions are finally done (I've been pluggin away when I had free time), my rims are freshly painted, new tires, wheel bearings, seals, we came up with an idea for (what should have benn) easy bunk beds, and got new blinds. So she's pretty much ready to go! We've been busy. Now we are ready to hit the road! (the paint comes next) Here's a couple pics. ~2Alaska

2Alaska,
Looking Good
We love our Airstream because she is once again ready to roll for another weekend of R & R. We are into week four of six solid weekend trips. As soon as we get home on Sunday we start preparing for the next trip and rush around all week to get our chores around the house done so we can rush off to the next weekend trip. We REALLY gotta retire!!!

We just returned from 10 days both dry camping and full hookup camping in Guadalupe Mountains National Park and Davis Mountains State Park with perfect weather and no problems. Just wish we could spend more time doing this. Will definitely be doing it in a couple years.

And this Thursday I have completed the new axles installation. I just have to reconnect the electric brake wires and reinstall the propane line. Of course I must put away all my tools. I must have used most of the tools that I have at least once.
Neil.

We are taking off for a short trip Tuesday. Most of the clear coat is stripped! Hope this rain stops soon or the Princess will be the Silver Arc!
