I love my Airstream because she has taken us to great places and met really great people! Without her we wouldn't have all these wonderful new friends!
Thank you sweet camper!

I love my Bambi because she can take us camping to great places close to home even when the fuel prices get really icky! [Not that they aren't already...] Or, if it gets really bad... we can camp in our backyard! We have deer, raccoons, gray squirrels, trees... actually doesn't sound too bad!

I love both my boys because they are now sitting right beside the house and I can go out and sit in one and then the other and dream of Spring. I have no idea why these trailers make a person feel so good. I think it's just the "get away" possibilities, taking your little cave with you. Should be in the 70"s this week end and I'll be out working on the "new" silver one. May wash the Argosy to avoid sibling rivalry.
2Air, trust me, it's actually still Thursday on my clock...
Besides when I got in late Thursday, it was just too tired out to post much of anything. So here's the scoop. I am now admitting to having officially made my original forum name come true--3isnotenough (which, for those of you who have noticed, is why a "Z" name appears so early in the list of "who's logged in"). Here's the new baby, a 23' 1978 Safari. I'm intending this one to be a full monte shell off whiz bang refurb, taking advantage of all that you here have taught me and what I learned doing the Ovelander and Caravel.
Pretty good shape, all the Zip Dees work, the fridge works on gas, and the A/C works. Need a new water heater and dump valves (of course). Tows wonderfully. Stand by for a long thread that describes every step in boring detail, following in the footsteps of so many, mainly inspired by UWE, JCFERGUSON,AEROWOOD,and A-MERRY-CAN, among so many other talented members. Oops, Brad, didn't mean to leave you or anyone else out...
Ooooohhhh, aaaahhhhh, taking deep breaths... Africa! I had forgotten or just dismissed the caravan since I didn't have the right Airstream. I wouldn't consider taking a single axle like my Caravel, and the Overlander is too long. Man, I'm in the money now. I guess I better get to work.
BTW, I have been informed that I have jumped to an erroneous conclusion about why my "Z" name is listed early in the "who's on line" box. Turns out you, the viewer, are listed first no matter what your screen name. Sheesh, and I was just beginning to think I had outsmarted the system. Another small triumph crushed by the light of truth...
