First Trip Of The Season
It's almost Thursday and I like my Airstream...Because the '87 is sitting in the driveway and ready for the first trip of the season. I washed and waxed her on Easter and she looks great. Best of all she offered up NO surprises when I de-winterized her. Houston, all systems are GO!!!
We leave Friday at noon to take her to Penn Wood Airstream Park for the summer. We are the advance party and will spend the weekend getting the park ready for its official 2009 opening the first weekend in May. So if you are near Limestone, PA that weekend stop on in for some Airstream hospitality. 
When we get home on Sunday the '06 will be making the short trek from the orchard to our driveway where she will be prepped for her first road trip in May to Locust Lake State Park. Then the end of may we will be joining 62Overlander, Mistral Blue, and a host of other Airstreamers at the 20th annual Crawfish Fest.
I hope everybody has a GREAT 2009 season

All systems ready to go!
It's Thursday, and I like my AS because the converter, which was replaced in August and died again, was successfully replaced with an up-graded converter, and most of the trailer fixture light bulbs replaced by warm white LEDs by Bill and I in time for our next trip to the desert. We are very thankful for the support and help provided by the Air Forums members, and will be posting photos...keep tuned.

Busy preparing the Trade Wind for my second April '09 WBCCI Rally -- "Unbutton Your Rig Rally" in Kutztown, PA. Weather forecast is calling for sunshine and temps in the 80's all weekend.
The season is off to a great start!

It's Thursday and I am having coffee this morning in my Trade Wind at the KOA in Holbrook, AZ. My friends are parked next door in their Airstream and we are all headed to the Restoration Rally in Albuquerque this morning. It doesn't get much better then this.

I love Thursdays because, we officially started the camping season off with a Great Rally at Casini Ranch. From here on out every other Thursday I get the Flying Cloud ready to go on the next adventure. This weekends trip we are going to Indian Grinding Rock.
