Because we are in it right now at Yosemite Pines surrounded by some good friends in their, shhh, sobs. Also, because it made this major climb, towing the Thing, and never missed a beat. Gotta love it!

Gotta love her! Our sweet Bambi is waiting patiently while we *continue* to work on the house in preparation to paint... We did take her out over the 4th and she did well! Looking forward to getting away sometime and let her see new places!

I like my Airstream because...

my friends and I did the STP, Seattle to Portland Bicycle Ride this weekend. It was 113 miles on Saturday and 97 on Sunday. We slept in our Airstream on Saturday night, got up, had breakfast and finished the ride. Aunt Gladys took good care of us.

Oh yea, it will be Thursday again before I can sit comforatable.

because we are loaded and ready for the third trip with Hedwig. First two times out were great! If all goes well this trip will bring the amortised nightly use cost to below $500.00. not counting food and fuel.

...because we are in it again (two Thursdays in a row) at the California Streamers Rally at Lake Pyramid CA. We had some mechanical issues, but were able to overcome them and here we are. The company is good, the Margie-ball is full, and we are ready to rally.

Maybe only once

in a lifetime will I get this many Aluminauts (or is that Zeppeluminums?) in the back yard. Tomorrow Mbuti takes me to Teton Villiage, so it's now or never. Perhaps one day Average Joe, the Safari, can join his brothers in echelon formation up here! Then it really will make me feel like a 4-ship lined up in the arming area, ready to launch...

I love my Airstreams because they are a challenge and a reward. When you have a vintage Airstream you are never without a project. This is important--without a serious project, you might just blink out...

I missed a bunch of Thursdays and will only make them up with this one: I love our Airstream because we are eight days from retiring and living full-time in it wherever we want all the time. We are so pumped!
