I know it's Sunday, but had to share what I found today at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Is this perfect for a 78 Argosy or what? I'm so excited to have The Twink back that I had to go out and spend more money on him.

Beautiful Juel. That looks great with your nice flooring, love the rich colors.

We love our Airstream because it is a port in any storm, winter or summer, always comfortable, dry, comfy, and fun on the road or home. It represents the trip ahead and future adventure or a sanctuary from the day to day routine of hectic life. It promises new places and new faces and time to stop and really see what is around us.

Good point Jon. Maybe that should be the three phases of development.

Maybe I will change my signature to this one;

If at first you don't succeed....don't go skydiving.

Thanks for sharing Juel! I've been considering a runner, and now I'm convinced it's the thing to do.

Carol,
My husband just recalled what you said, almost verbatim, so I know it really resonated with him! Once again, well put!

it must be thursday somewhere!

hello forum members, guests, contributors2dtherad and others....

this air-stream of thought, is exactly one year old this week...

friday 2 b exact.

we've had poetry, photos, puns and so on posted here...

mostly on thursdays.

we've also shared camping stories, repair triumphs and family issues...

new, old, used, restored, argosy, moho, van, square, short or long in pieces or in the future, and so on...

a whole lot of views and all friendly...

i have enjoyed every single thursday a little bit...

the the people herein...

because of this connection.

if you have not read from the beginning, go back and do it now.

some of the posts are absolutely priceless...

find one ya like and 'karmalize' the poster...

could be just the thing to get us back on track...

all week and every other day too!

how about one whole week of thursdays as the anniversary gift...

to us ALL!

cheers

Thumbs up

You did a good thing with this thread, 2Air! As a new Airstreamer it's been one of my favorite things to read to see just what this magic amongst us is all about.
Thanks!

It's Thursday morning, almost 6:00am and the trailer is almost packed. We will be headed north in about 4 hours. Next stop will be Cottonwood, AZ!

Because I've been enjoying the Mojave desert for a few weeks and today I'll pack up and head for Deadhorse!

Here's a desert sunrise with Mbuti the Caravel posing in the shadows...

NICE photos Mr. Zepp

I still like my A/S because this week the new toilet and memory foam bed topper both arrive.
In the mean time, the GT is still very useable. These are merely upgrades - do the improvements really ever end??
