Well, it's Thursday and I love my AS because this morning I finally dropped it off at the AS Dealer (DonMar RV) for the generator swap.
If all goes well I'll have my brand new Honda 6k purring in the belly of the beast by Saturday.
The extra 2k power means that I'll have a dedicated A/C circuit and I've asked them to add a 20 amp surface mount receptical on the driver side of the coach right under my computer so I can get rid of the cross the coach extension cord.

it would seem 2 me...

that info on camping sites near disneyland and s.f.

are important enough to merit a thread...

everyday.

there are already several threads on the florida disney theme, but not so for california disneyland.

so i've pm'd a mod and asked that these 3 posts (630, 632, 635) be moved.

to a california disneyland and san fran camgrounds thread....

now back to thursday...

cheers
2air'

Well 2air, thanks for getting us back on track. It just so happens that today is Thursday and I like my Airstream because a week from Saturday, she will take this Family of Disney Fanatics to Ft. Wilderness for a short trip to Disney World.

Ms. NorCal Bambi, thanks for the info. My grand-mother lived in California (near Fresno) in the 60's. My family traveled from Georgia to California in our little pop-up tent camper to see her in 1969 during the summer after my second grade. On the way back we went to Disneyland and stayed at the campground at Disneyland. I remember riding the tram. The morning we left I got sick in the car before we pulled out and my parents thought we might have to stay an extra day!

I love my ARGOSY because he's ready to come home from the RV doctor and I can pick him up tomorrow. I can't wait to get him home and parked out here in the yard. He's sporting a new larger electric jack with manual override, a remote switch for the electric/LP water heater, a dedicated circuit for the water heater, a dedicated outlet on the A/C circuit so we can use it to plug in an electric heater in the winter, new plumbing (yea) and a big ole bill for it all. Guess you never really get one of these trailers finished. Probably could have bought a new one for the "improvements" on this one. Wouldn't be an Argosy though. Nothing like these little cream trailers.

Its Thursday and I like my Airstream a true home away from home. She is on standby today and the countdown is on for a trip planned in two weeks. She will be attending a GA RVer rally at twin oaks campground in Perry GA and will probably be the only Airstream attending this rally. Can`t wait to get those wheels turning.

Ditto! And because we just got back yesterday from 4 days in Palm Desert and everything worked perfectly. The old beast is really starting to earn its keep.
