Sounds like you are gonna like your Airstream on Friday even more than Thursday. Enjoy the journey and give DG a big hello from me and Cat.

. . .because after I attempted to pick out bad looking sealant around her front windows and recaulk, she is snug and dry inside during today's 2 1/2 inch rains. Good girl, Gypsy! She's getting ready to hit the road West the last week of July. ~G

It`s Thursday and I like my Airtsream and have it parked at the 50th International Rally in Perry GA with about 1000 other Airstreamers. It is awesome to see that many silver bullets together and of course its my first International Rally to. But it is truly a sight to see.

Because - we got the same 2 1/2 inch rain that Georgia in Missouri got.... and after replacing 4 windows....WE HAVE NO LEAKS!!!!

And - our to do list is getting smaller and smaller...... and .....

hubby's high school sweetheart came last night to measure for all the drapes. Guess I'm glad we stayed friends all these years.

Because we just got home from a great week at the lake in Osoyoos, BC. My wife Donna did the towing which is pretty good considering she was using a 1957 stationwagon to tow a 1951 Airstream, and a wonderful time was had by all. Round trip was about 800 miles all through the mountains. We saw four other Airstreams, one new 19' in the same campground (Nk'Mip), and three others in tow. Most importantly, I'm learning to not provide quite so much "passenger side driver coaching" and with that there's a very good chance I won't have to have duct tape over my mouth and my hands duct taped behind my back on future trips . And one more thing - NEXT year on this trip the 17' Boler (white) beside our Airstream will be replaced with our trailers twin, as our friends will hopefully have their 1951 Flying Cloud ready to hit the road as well. It's a beauty, and the two, both being towed by fifties stationwagons, should be lots of fun to see going down the highway.

Here's some pics:

Here is a good one, my wife endulges me in a whole lot of hobbies, Kayaking, Cycling, Motorcycling, last year my Bro-in-Law and me rode to the Arcitc Circle and back from Seattle. Pretty cool eh? My first Motorcycle was a Harley. It was big, green, shiny, chromy, really cool, really Americana...I loved that thing...it reminded of all things Fun American.

Well, so is my Airstream. And I can sleep in it. So, it is Thursday and even though our Aunt Gladys has only been out once, the yard is cool for having here there. We have a week long vacation in August and I plan to spend all of it in my ashpault assault weapon.

John

Safari57,

You keep "helping" the Mrs. drive and you'll be riding home in that Airstream.

Don't ask me how I know.

Well it is Thursday and I love my Airstream because in just two days she will take us to Ft. Wilderness at Disney World for our fourth trip in a year for a week long camping stay with the mouse. Can't wait to hit the road Saturday morning!

I've just about got everything ready and the wife has everything packed so between the two of us we have the family ready to go. I'll top of the tank on the way home, load the golf cart, and hitch up tomorrow evening and be ready early Saturday morning. Can you tell I'm excited?
