It's a little past Thursday and I like my Airstream because....

The screen door is fixed and back on the trailer,
We are packed waiting for my wife to work her 1/2 day today,
We are headed up to the rim,
Fishing and camping with the fly club.....

BTW, I am going to make dutch oven peach cobler
for the pot luck. I got the recipe from Stefrobrts,

Steph ~ We have a freezer and will include a scoop
of ice cream with the cobler.....

As usual, I'm a little late on the Thursday post, but I like my Airstream because she will take us to the Springstream Forum Rally tonight and tomorrow we will have great fellowship with a bunch of great folks with their Airstreams in a beautiful setting on Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, GA. There will be bar-b-que training if Martin makes it (he's having technical difficulty with his tow vehicle near Atlanta right now) and good music and, did I mention, great fellowship? Nothing like an Airstream and nothing like Airstreamers!

I like my Airstream because I was able to get the new water tank installed and properly tied down, the water fill and vent moved to a spot that even looks better than where the factory had it, and completed all the plumbing which tested no leaks. By next Thursday I hope to have completed the reinstallation of the dinette area that had to come out to do this tank repair/replacement. It felt so good having gotten that much done yesterday and today that I tested the bed out and had a great afternoon snooze in it - first one this year.

Highland Haven Airstream Park bound!

It's Thursday and we like our Airstream because she's out front waiting to be towed to Highland Haven Airstream Park for this season's opening. Yippee!
Happy Trails

...because my Airstream is home now and tomorrow I'll be trying out my new (to me) cyclo polisher. Cleaning/repairing the gate valve on the black tank and just getting it ready for our first trip of the year coming up in May

all of mine are emrerging from the [hopefully] last spring snowstorm, which occurred on Tuesday and dumped two feet here of heavy, wet stuff! We're grateful for the water, of course.

Time to get to work! Photos later....

We're Rallyin'

We love our Airstream, because once again, it got us here uneventfully, we're surrounded by great people at Casini Ranch, and we know we are going to continue to have this kind of fun for a long time.

I love my Airstream because we had a great time at the Springstream Rally in Hiawassee, Georgia on beautiful Lake Chatuga last weekend! There were around 35 trailers and 3-4 motorhomes. We had a wonderful pot luck dinner, some great music, great fellowship with our fellow forum buddies. We met some new friends and reunited with some old friends. It was a great weekend compliments of our "Changes in Latitudes".

Next weekend we will be camping with my brother-in-law and his family in Chattanooga, TN. Looking forward to this trip and a busy camping season ahead!

It is Friday and I liked my Airstream on Thursday because it has become my home office and morning coffee space. I love coming out to it in the morning with coffee in hand to check my email.

Another fine Thursday and I really love my Airstream because I finally completed my water tank replacement and rebuild of the dinette. Whew, now we are ready for camping.

One picture is with the flash, the other is the lighting provided by the new lights I also managed to get installed.

Life is very good for those who own an Airstream.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because she'll get some Walbernize this weekend in preparation for finally going camping next weekend. Yay!

Way to accessorize Barry! How many megapixels is that camera? Cool radio in your toaster too.
