While we aren't using her for a few more weeks, the anticipation is enough to keep us sane. I have a couple of projects to do to be ready for a busy season this year. All of them can be done in a weekend, or maybe two, if I can just find a weekend to do them in!

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because...

...it's March, it's below freezing, and our Airstream gives us hope for a warmer tomorrow. Unbelieveably given the weather, in only 15 days we are 'on the road again'.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because I actually got to see it today! After a total of three (3) weeks of down time I have a promise from DonMar RV that I will get my rig back tomorrow.
Between an offsite welder and other staff problems I've been without my daily driver for all this time while they installed the new Honda 6010 in the belly of the beast.
I'm about at the end of my rope waiting to get back out on the road..... So Saturday will be the shakedown cruise as I venture down to Charleston for a demo day and return.
Should know by then what the time was worth.

First 07 outing scheduled for next Thursday!

Thanks for all the great advice from this forum. We are somewhat seasoned newbies now . Took it out 3 times to the mountains last October although the refurbishing was incomplete and the TV was not adequate.
We are heading to the beach next Thursday-Sunday with our new Dodge TV, then heading to the CBR in DC April 12-15, then to Virginia Highland Haven, Highland Haven Airstream Park, the first weekend in May, where we will leave it for while to serve as our "Condolumimum", for long weekends and our base camp complete with WiFi Broadband which will allow me to work some from there. If you are ever in the area of the Blue Ridge Parkway, between Roanoke and Floyd Va, we invite you to visit this beautiful all Airstream Park.

Its Thursday and I like my Airstream because it is in the driveway, and I can work on it. Also all of the interior lights work, the refer works on electric and the nasty paint is coming off the walls. So far the news is all good. And this was post 100.

It's Thursday and I like my airstream because...even though,

I thought I had it winterized, but sprung a leak in a copper line from last month's freeze. It was nice to me though, it blew in an accessable closet area, and was easy to fix.

Talking Such fine taste....

It is Thursday and I my Bambi Airstream! It is very special because her twin "sister" is now on display at MOMA in New York! It is nice to know that the folks at the Museum of Modern Art have added a 1963 Bambi to their collection! Such fine taste....

Way to go, Bambi!

Here is to all Bambi's!

Because she's home.......

Because she's home from upgrades in Texas over the Winter. She's been washed and waxed today and all shiny in our driveway ready to be made ready for Bristol and a week of camping with the NASCAR crazies like ourselves! Thursdays are great! "Boogety, boogety, boogety. Let's go racing boys!" (DW)
HAPPY TRAILS

It's Thursday and Gypsy is happy because she overheard us making plans to build a 32 by 25 foot metal structure over her so she'll be protected from sun and hail. The material for this is almost being given to us so while it's not what we'd planned, we think it will do nicely, thank you Thank goodness for family and their friends for labor! ~G
