It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream because...
We just got back from a 2,500 mile road trip to Kansas and back, and the Bambi towed like it wasn't there and was just perfect in every way.
As usual.

It's Thursday and I Like My Airstream Because...

It's pestering me to hit the open road.
It taunts my complacent, home-bound tendencies.
The two dogs look at the Airstream and then back at me.
Their eyes fix on mine.
There is no mistaking the message.
Roadtrip, roadtrip, roadtrip.

Listen to the dogs. They are only concerned about your well-being.

It's an awesome little thing that brings so much fun and happiness into our lives! We just got home from a couple of nights at Thornhill Broome Beach at Point Mugu State Park, which we had almost all to ourselves. We had a perfect spot, the weather was gorgeous, we watched seals and dolphins and pelicans, and we escaped there today just as all the holiday weekenders were showing up in their giant motorhomes. Yeah, it's easy to love the Airstream on Thursday, and every other day of the week!

Not that I have anything against big motorhomes!! Don't mean to offend anyone! We just love our tiny rig. Can't imagine driving one of those giant ones!

It's Thursday and I miss my Airstream. Ready to get her out of the shop and for this heat to go away so we can take her out.

It is Thursday, and my sweet little Airstream hasn't had a "love" post here in a long time... so to make things right: It is Thursday and I am anxious to take out our little Bambi and camp... but right now (because we adore her...) she is safe and sound at home... the mountains around us have 3 major fires ~ so the air quality is seriously less than desirable, don't want her out in the way of the forest fires!

Felt same way, then Isaac showed up on the horizon, gave me comfort knowing if we needed a safe haven we could drive away or if electricity was lost we had backup.
By next month temps should moderate and we will get the urge to see new places and yachtsee will be ready.

It's Thursday. Not only do I love my Airstream, but so does Jet. Whenever we bring it home, he gets a little nutty. He knows when it's Thursday.
He's got that look in his eyes. He can't sit still. He's ready to roll.
Relax, Jet. One more day, one more day....

Late Entry

I love my Airstream because yesterday was Thursday, and we pulled it out of storage for our first trip of the 2012-2013 camping season.
Traveled from Albuquerque to Cortez, CO,
Sailed along on new tires
All systems working great
On the road again.
