Looking forward to the Thursday when my As is ready

We are having some updates done to the unit we recently purchased and have joined WBCCI and affliated with a local unit. Looking forward to taking the maiden voyage to a rally with lots of friendly, experience folks around to help with the learning curve.

...because it is going back together and looking good. I have found that the smashed old gal was well maintained and is not giving me greef with the repairs I am doing to get her out to the camp ground next weekend.

Yes I am working on the Overlander now and loving it.

It is Thursday!

I my Airstream. She is sitting in the garage, wanting to go... but her new axle isn't finished and she must have patience... But, there is lots of work we can do... new window coverings, wash the windows from Silver Falls, repack... be ready as soon as she is!

It's Thursday (actually Friday morning) and I like my Airstream because...we are going to Jackson Center this week end to get Deer damage repairs. Then she'll be just like the new she was at three weeks old when that d@*# deer ran into her while we were going 50 MPH!!!

It's early morning Thursday and we are hitting the road in the morning, 4 days at Big Lake (AZ). Elevation is 9200 feet and the high temp should be around 80 degrees. Thats a 30 degree drop from Phoenix.

Gracie just stuck her head in the room to let me know that I need to get off of the computer and make sure her stuff is packed. Everyone have a fun and safe weekend. Say, Goodnight Gracie!

Because she brought us to this forum where so many of you share your ideas and fixes for Airstream problems. Tonight she becomes her beautiful self again. Gypsy is plugged in (the first time in months) and cool. Our Firestorm cordless drill is charged and ready. We finally found plastic strips, got the small self-tapping 5/8's inch screws, and white screw covers, so the Grand Ceiling Re-installation shall begin!!!!!!!!!! Keep us on your good-thoughts list because I'm more than paranoid that we are gonna screw into something vital. Thanks to all of you who shared your fixes and photos for droopy ceilings. Anyway, here we go . . . on a Thursday! ~G

Today we are loading it up to take off tommorrow morning to head for the mountains. We missed the International and our planned visit to Silver Falls while I spent three weeks in the hospital and so now this Friday and Saturday will have to be our vacation. Time to go relax in the mounatians.

Yikes! Cory, hope you're doing better and that you enjoy your trip this weekend. Are you going to make it to Deming this year?

Not sure, I have to schedule another appointment in Seattle for possible surgery. We hope to make it there it is always a great rally and we know so many of the people there.

I went to a party yesterday, and I came back to the Airstream and took a shower before retiring. Just as I was stepping out of the shower, the phone rang. I went to answer it and FORGOT to shut the water off. It stayed in SEEP mode before I noticed it later today. I pressed the monitor button and it informed me that the grey water tank was very full. That explained why the contents of the trap were laying in the bottom of the shower. Hasten I did outside to pull the grey water drain. Gal-lumph! With a mighty gulp, it started dumping. I looked under the trailer and discovered that it had found a new way/place to leak from.

I like my Airstream because it keeps me from getting too complacent.

because....
I had a great weekend of camping. The kids had fun and I got to hang with fellow Airstreamers. Like you 2Air, my fridge is on and keeping cool. Counting down to the next trip... two weeks and counting. Mystery Rally with my unit. Hope to have the dinette built by then.

This Thursday I can talk about using a ramp to raise a wheel, yes, that works, and I put a picture in my gallery. I decided to remove the backing plate and take it to Napa to see if I could get the whole thing new in a Dexter brake that I can get parts for anywhere at a Napa store in the country. I'll find out tomorrow.

I love my trailer because Airstream Forums exists to help me decide what to do when maintaining this elegant old girl.
