I love our Airstream because it took us pretty much without incident through the West, and now is cleaned, repacked and ready to go to the river this weekend for some fishing and fellowship with family and friends.

I love my Argosy even more since it's all freshly painted and more beautiful than ever. Had a little fridge issue the last couple days but it's doing well now so that makes me happy too.
We're loading her up for our trip out to Rushmore, The Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, and Glacier. We leave in 2 weeks!

It's Thursday and we had a great time camping this past week and look forward to our next outing. We have been out 5 times so far this year.

My wife starts the week of August 3rd. The kids start back on August 10th. Our county is on a modified year 'round school calendar. They get a long weekend in October, the full week of Thanksgiving, two weeks at Christmas, the week of Presidents day (third week of February), a week off for Spring Break (first week of April) and then they are finished with school at Memorial Day Weekend. My wife has to do post-planning the 2-3 days after Memorial Day and then they have about 9 weeks of summer break. I takes a while to remember all the days and it compresses the amount of weeks available for vacation travel during the summer, but my wife and kids like the schedule...most parents don't seem to though.

It is Monday, but we love our airstream because on Thurs we leave for our 3rd trip this year. Heading south to visit family, with a couple stops down and back. Gold Beach, Oregon (on way down) and camping on the Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon on the way back. Can't wait.

When I was a kid living in a no red light town in Texas I would see the beautiful Airstreams trailers go by with there, big red letters and dream that one day I would be able to travel the America we studied about in geography class. My dream came true this year when we purchased Happy. Airperson

It's Thursday and were packed and ready to hit the road afterwork today. This will be our 10th trip so far for the year. The heat is going to be in the triple digits today and into the weekend, so we are off to the beautiful coast of Bodega Bay, California. Have a great weekend all and see you down the road.

Its Thursday and I love my airstream because.......
.....it makes mehappy every time I climb on to the metal popping step and enter my rolling beach house...even if its sitting in the drive, I feel transported to a carefree happy place......is it the play house I never had as a kid??

Its Thursday and I love my Airstream because we made our annual summer getaway last week without any incidents(except the brake controller shorted out, which was as easy a fix as I have ever had) as we made it through S. Illinois, down to Mammoth Cave up through S. Indiana and back. It was a much shorter driving distance and much more relaxing time than we normally have.

One is camping with me right now next to a log cabin by the Tye River. Courtesy parking at its finest! And the other?

By the looks of a quick reconnaissance mission to Trailer Buff late yesterday, the empty space where he was living in the holding yard means Elvis might be in the buidling! I'm heading over in a bit to confirm.

It's Thursday and I love my Airstream because this time next week we will have spent the good part of a week at Grayton Beach State Park...hoping to not look like a lobster at that point.

Counting the days 'till I can be counting the miles.
