It's Thursday and I'm camped out in the #1 spot (I got here early) at the Asheboro NC YMCA. About five rigs are here early for the start of tomorrows Cycle North Carolina Spring Retreat. I'm a ride volunteer tomorrow and will ride Saturday and Sunday.
I'm the boss and I've got a cell phone ...so I'm not really taking Friday off. I'm just out and about.

"I'm not an expert. But I did sleep in an Airstream last night."
Restoration is in hyperdrive. GSM thinks we may be able to pick her up on Monday. That would be fantastic! She will be polished, but not clear-coated. I'm thinking of waiting until late fall to return her for completion due to many, many planned camping adventures for the 2006 season which start next weekend.
Love my camper: She will be beautiful once again, she has provided us with an avenue to meet many new folks that we now consider friends. Live with an Airstream is good.......

Isn't it thursday yet!?! I like my airstream so much
I picked up a second job so I can pay for some fixin's for my trailer. I'm too tired to wait to post, boy there is no time for anything else. Water tank and new foam mattress. Polishing gear and redo my pantry and closet.
Of all the great family camping memories, and finding them in boxes of stored camping gear...
As I was organizing the trailer today I dug through a box of kid stuff I had set aside for the trailer and realized that I had left some baby things sonny boy outgrew two years ago/should have been in the Goodwill pile. Some things sorry to let go of, cute little shirts, others happy (swim diapers no more need for those hip hip hooray!!!)
It inspired me to look at photos and boy did I get off track onto memory lane. Productivity is down today...shh don't tell management...
Here's to making new memories this year!

its thursday and I like my airstream because --its my home away from home-its my home when the misses and I need space--its my home when I too tired from work to go home--its OUR home when WE are on an adventure!
....because I'm off Thursdays and can put in a full days work on my restoration project! Trying to get it ready for Mother's Day weekend. We'll be heading for Priest Lake, Lion's Head unit - Boondocking.

My goodness Thursday has rolled around again. It's Thursday, and I like my Airstream because in one week we will be headed to our Casino's (adult only) for the weekend and the Airstream saved us $130.00 in motel rooms. More for me to pull those one arm bandits with.
