I have owned 7 ranging from 1975 to my current 1991 and the lengths have varied from 29ft to my current 34ft. I have been in the WBCCI since 1989 and was one of the youngest members to join at the age of 18 at that time.I have owned more Airstreams than most people who have been in the club 30 years but I have enjoyed it alot and hope to have lots of more fun.Davis
I have an interest in how many folks own more than 1 airstream, not have you owned more than 1 ?
I have been called an inveterate pack rat by many in my family as I have great difficulty in parting with possessions. My Airstream inventory stands at two - - the '64 Overlander International that friends' of my family purchased new and in which I went on my first camping trip when the trailer was new and I was five (I became its third/fourth owner in 1995) through an odd quirk of fate. In 2002, the '78 Argosy Minuet 6.0 Metre followed me home. The Airstreams join a collection that includes all but six of the 13 autos that I have owned.

Interesting that most of the folks who responded to the poll only have one, but (except now for me) all who responded are serial streamers!
We have only one. Between plumbing woes and frame concerns (and ours is in pretty good shape), that's plenty for us right now...though I do get a bit wistful when really gorgeous '50s models go for sale. Then I think of our to-do list and quickly lose that feeling! Nope, I'm convinced that it's much more fun getting our friends to acquire those prospective projects!!!
A 2003 Bambi and now a 2005 Safari SS... Within 6 months... I have been tent camping for years got the Bambi and loved it but needed just a little more space.
I have owned 2. Wasn't looking for the second one, but it jumped right out in front of me and said BUY ME NOW!!!! So....
It was sad selling my first one though. I still miss it!

Hello all - Gigi and I just agreed to buy a 1977 Argosy 6m today. So after a good number of years of drooling... Finally registering for forum, thought it "funny" Argosy's not in list of Airstreams. Seems to be an unintended pattern for Gigi and I to be a fringe group of a fringe group!http://www.airforums.com/forums/newreply.php
But - glad to join up!
Matthew
Well it was one for the longest time, but now I have two. My original '78 31 Sovereign (rear twin) and my new to me '82 34' Limited! I think I need to reduce my inventory by one and the '78 will be going.
Take care,
