How Many Airstreams

There are 16738 members registered on the Airstreamforums.
This is a poll to try and collect the total number of Airstreams are still on the road, at least in the forums.
Not scientific but might get some interesting info.

I've got one. However there is a way to estabish a poll on the forum, but I'm not smart enough to tell ya how to do it. Might ought to check with a moderator.

Interesting idea. I would be interested in seeing the results too.

Mine is a 2006 as you can see in my signature below. I selected 2001-?

I recently read that there is approximately 70,000 Airstream products still on the road. There have been approximately 120,000 Airstream products made since the company was started by WB. Of course these numbers fluctuate each day as new units roll off the assembly line and vintage units are rescued or converted to permanent berths as guest houses, etc.

A worthy poll. Probably be more accurate than the numbers ginned up by Airstream.

Great idea. Isn't it marvelous that, barring accidents, ALL the Airstreams/Argosys could easily still be on the road. Any of these vintage trailers given even minimal care could still be out rolling down the highway. I am so fortunate to have one.

I currently have 2, 1975 and 1980, neither one is what I would call roadworthy, but they can be towed. They are both registered so I guess that counts for something...
