Thumbs up How Far Have You Traveled

On Ebay I bought a book about airstreams and it mentions that a Dr, Holman built a trailer by plans courtesy of Wally Byam and his trailer has made 450,000!!! miles, Ok, I'm impressed. So, just for fun I'll start, bought an AS in August, 07. I havee traveled 710 miles with my AS counting my trip to Kentucky this weekend. What's your best estimate of miles traveled?

Just curious? All high milers, what are your tips for keeping your trailer in tip top shape.

We've put about 2000 miles on our Bambi since we bought it in March of 2007...and we hope to put many many more miles on it in the coming yeard...we keep a running total so we'll know when it's time to re-pack the bearings, etc.

Here's to many more happy miles!

We've gone ~50,000 miles in our 1984 310 Limited Motorhome in approximately three years.

Not sure of our total but I would estimate about 10,000 in the past year. We did 1300 since last week going to the Beverly Beach rally and we're still 600 miles from home.

Funny you bring this up, I just updated my mileage record the other day. Since July 3, 2006 I've traveled 2880 miles. Being a 1960 coach that was obviously well used and cared for by it's original owner, there's no telling how many miles it's logged before it came into my possession.

I'm not a high miler yet, but to be honest, I think frequently using a coach will keep it in better shape than letting it sit most of the year. Then one is more likely to address routine maintenance issues and do prompt repairs.

We've gone about 30 000 miles since the first time we used our trailer in August 2003. That included a year when I was on sabbatical and we did a lot more traveling than usual.

There's a danger in this - it is easy to then figure out the volume of gas and its associated cost ....

We've logged just shy of 29,000 miles in 4 seasons .... and counting.

Just completed an 8,000 mile trip a month ago to New England area and back. Another 1000 miles on the TV at stops. Overall we have around 15,000 miles on our Bambi Quick Silver since Aug. 2006.

25,000+ miles since I bought her in April 06. The only states I have not been in are Mississippi, Alabama, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Colorado, New York, New Jersey, Deleware, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hamshire, Vermont, Maine. Sorry New england.

Keeping her in good shape do the reuglar maintenence and keep her claen. That way you can spot problems earlier.

We purchased the 29' Sovereign in Feb 2003.

Took a year or so to get into the WBCCI routine. We have been to Lansing, Springfield, Salem, Rio Grand valley, Florida rally, Myrtle beach, Mapleleaf caravan, Viking caravan, Unit rallies, State rallies, etc.

The trailer has 28,000 miles and the truck has 38,000 miles by us.

Trying to get on the southwest caravan for next april + Boseman.
