Future Globetrotter
Future first time buyer here.
I had my heart set on a 27’ Globetotter but then I toured the 28’ International Serenity (& Signature) RBT. Love the design of the Globetrotter but really love the floor plan of the 28’ International RBT.
Any chance AS builds a 28’ Globetrotter RBT in the future?

I very seriously doubt it. The 28 is a unique floor plan.

Thanks for the reply.
I mentioned our FC20 galley, mainly to emphasize that certain Airstream floor plans are very frustrating for the main cook IMO. If you go to a larger AS dealer, the galley limitations are very easy to scope out in person. There are a couple fairly close to you, and of course Colonial in southern NJ is not all that far away, especially if you take the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel up The Eastern Shore, and the Cape May ferry to the tip of NJ.
Nothing beats a "full scale model" to assess the kitchen, bath, and sleeping arrangements. Our 20' is likely way too small for your family needs, but there are lots of options as you get to 25' and beyond. Keep the cook happy IMO . . .
FYI the new search function in the blue box above works great [at least using the desktop version of this site -- the App not so much apparently IMO]. Here are some "Eastern Shore" results if you are up for an R&D road trip after Labor Day.

These "compare sizes" results may also be productive:

Good luck with your search!

Airstream has announced a new 30’ Globetrotter which is a similar floor plan as a 28’. As of now, Airstream has not announced a 28’ Globetrotter.

Thank you. I’ve already downloaded the brochure. Curious about that wrap around couch. Pretty? Yes? Functional? Not sure yet.

This is helpful. Thank you very much. I really like to cook and i’be been so concerned with sleeping everyone that I hadn’t given much consideration to cooking.

Sorry . . . I missed your reply earlier this month.
Have you had a chance to go to a dealer and check out all the models in person?
Also, you might want to consider whether your two teenagers could sleep in a tent, as part of the solution IMO.
Cheers,
Peter

I like to sit in a corner and think out what the trailer will look like in the RV park after four days. That long and every thing possible will be out on the counter. Coffee pot, flour pot, waffle maker, frying pan, dishes drying on the sideboard, computer on the table, books, towels, wet wash cloths, and a bag of potatoes. Ok your list might be different but no-one puts clutter in the sales brochures. Its up to you to visualize how it will work.
Oh if you have kids or a dog figure them in the way.....
