Dang fine question! None of these really seems 'just perfect' to me... but it's about all we can find. At any rate, I have no clear preference. So any opinions will be extremely helpful. Keep the votes coming in.

I'm with 2air on #2 & 4. Can we assume #3, 4, 5 & 6 are available in 6 bolt-hole versions?

Yes - these wheels are all trailer wheels available with the specs we need. They are all load rated for 2600 lbs or better.

Remember - this is a 24' 1977 argosy rear door. It will weight about 4,200 lbs when completed and fully loaded and has 2 axles.

Wheel update..

Thought you might want to know how this ended. Many of you voted for wheel number 2, but it just wasn't quite right so based on your various comments and input, I went back to the drawing board and finally found a wheel we think will be just perfect. They should be on the doorstep soon (I hope).

I looked at that wheel closely before I chose #6 for my '86 Sovereign. My only problem was I could only find one source although I caught a couple of those on an ebay sale. I'm still happy with my choice and I'm sure you will be equally happy with yours. They are sharp and really stand out.

# 2 matches the wheels on my F150 best and that's what I would buy for your Argy.

If I had a different TV, which I need for my 34' Excella, the wheels might be different and I might lean towards #6.

I like #3 & #4, but they are starting to look a bit period to me, especially #3. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have 6 of either instead of the steel wheels and hubcaps on the Excella.

#1 & #7 are busy. #1 is just trying too hard. IMHO, the problem with most custom wheels is that there are a limited number of things that look good, and designing something just to be different doesn't work.

So, #2 or #6. In that order.

Hey.. I go away for three weeks to Europe, and see what I missed! Love your choice Janet! Can't wait to see how it's all coming out. Hmmm... if WHEELS are going on, can the end be near?

Happy Belated Birthday!
Marc

Janet,

It looks like you picked #5. Can you tell us where you got them. They look great.
