We still just call ours "The Trailer" guesse its time to get the creative juices flowing on that eh?
I think I saw someone here with a logon of Aluminati. That has my vote.
Best overall name for a vehicle was a Sailboat I saw a while back called "Passing Wind"
Talk about high class

"Lucky"
We call our 1965 Caravel "Lucky". We were very lucky to find a Caravel in such nice shape, and it was lucky to find a good home.

Tradewind is certainly not original but in nautical terms it's very accurate in that it's opposite to doldrums, at least it means you're going somewhere!

My 67 Overlander is named "The Leaky Tiki" due to a plumbing leaky that nearly sank her just after I got her and the fact that she is being done up Tiki-style on the inside. I imagine myself as Gardner McKay on the schooner "Tiki" traveling across America in my "land Yacht".

Our "77 Overlander is named after one of our Schauzners that passed two yrs. ago, She was our constant companion. "MISS KITTY" was smart and loving,so we honor her by naming our AS after her.

ARVIN as in RV'ing
I guess based on the name, we've given birth to an aluminum boy, although it seems that most here have females. This could bode well though. If the ratio of boys to girls is disproportionate, he can have his pick of partners.

Back in the 80's, my wife and I decided we should take up boating on the Great Lakes. Having never been on a boat, we ended up purchasing a 37' Egg Harbor - built for deep sea fishing off the deep bank in the North Atlantic. The first time we took her out on an extended trip, headed up Lake Huron, we looked at each other and decided we were like the Pilgrims - heading out, not knowing where we might end up. We had both taken the public courses on boating safety and navigation and I had the more involved courses on advanced navigation, electronics, weather, etc... but, boy were we ever new at this! We put over 1,000 hours on the boat each summer for three summers - got lots of experience! Purchasing our AS this winterf is our big step back - like in boating. We needed something to get us back outside regularly. We've been to Europe lots of times but we've never seen this country - so our AS is going to get us around the USA. And, pilgrim still seems to fit us perfectly. We've never been in a trailer, we've never hauled a trailer (other than hundreds of U-Hauls) so here we are again......starting off a new adventure not knowing where we might end up. We'll see many of you 'streamin down the highways. We've planned trips to Lancaster, PA and New Mexico for the upcoming year. Lots of other trips to plan and we've warned all family members that retirement is April 1st of this year so watch out as "here we come." Somehow, pilgrim has stayed with us and my wife even refers to our purchases "for the boat" not for the trailer. We'll see you down the road.

It's a boy!
Ours is named "marti"
as in all the"Martinis" that we consume when we think about of all the projects we have left to do and all the ones that went down trying to get the courage to get some of them started. i.e. axle replacement!

I heard of a lawyer who after much deliberation, bought an AS and called it "The verdict". He liked it so well that he bought another one. This time his wife was very irrate about it until he took her out in it for a vacation trip during which time they made up. He named the 2nd AS "Aquitted".

This is my first Airstream and I think I've decided on a name...

The "original" Silver Hilton is a Steelhead fishing lodge located in northern British Columbia, on the Babine River.
So, logic would seem to dictate that a Flyfisher would want to stay in a "Silverhilton II".
