Awnings? arms or poles?

Hi, I have a '64 Safari, I want to put an awning that is about 11 feet long on it.
Can I get arms for it or do I have to get poles?
Where can I get arms?
I looked at VTS & they appear to only have poles.
Thank you for any help.

"Factory" length awning would be about 14', unless you want to go with a pole awning. Zip-Dee is the only current manufacturer of roll-out awnings made for the curve of the Airstream body.

I should've mentioned I am getting this custom made with sunbrella fabric, I can have any size it's just the hardware will dictate how long I can have it.

ZipDee makes the awning to fit the trailer. The hardware needs to mount at the ribs and not just into the skin. As stated earlier the ZipDee for a 24' trailer would be around 14'. Zipdee uses Sunbrella frabric and has many patterns to choose from.

FP,

The ONLY company that currently makes arms that will fit an Airstream is Zip-Dee. They will probably sell you just a set of arms and mounting hardware, as they often sell replacement arms that have been damaged and need to be replaced.

Give them a call and tell them what you're doing and what you need. They are nice people to do business with. ....1-800-338-2378
