And welcome to the forum!
Well, just, damn. You know, no matter how hard I try in life, I can't be anything other than average. I've got three kids, one cat and a dog (actually, she just died a month ago). I drive a pickup, my wife drives a mini-van. We go to church every Sunday, Scouts on Tuesday. We have a small, four bedroom house. Got a college degree (useless). I sit in rush hour traffic two hours every day. I think that Jeff Foxworthy is great American. I think Pope John Paul the great is one of the most wonderful human beings that ever lived. We Bar-b-q at least twice a month (usually more). A big thrill for me is tickets to a Braves game. Can somebody just shoot me? I got to go to bed now and get my 6.5 hours of sleep so I can get up in the morning and drink my 2.5 cups of coffee and sit in rush hour traffic for an hour.

Oh, and by the way, I'm 48.5 years old. Go figure.

Another measuring statistic, just what men need...

I'm just going to have to get used to being above average!

All I can say is I must be "above" average.

Just slightly above average here too. Although no one I work with seems to think so. Funny, I was below average when the poll was done. Making some kind of progress.

I bought my first Airstream when I was 16. That was 22 years ago. I have not looked back since.
Since the purchase 22 years ago, I have owned a grand total of 4 Argosys.
I fix them up and people want them. I never get to keep one too long after I am done restoring it.
Right now I have two Argosys. My brother has his eye on one of them. I am hoping I can keep one longer than four or five years now.
I happen to be 38.

I'm 33 and just got my first airstream. I think I am young, but not quite sure.

I would say you are pretty young. There are younger ones on here.
I am glad to see you enjoying the Airstream stuff as there are not enough "younguns" that take an interest in them. When my biddies were restoring "Cudas", "Camaros" and "Chargers" I was restoring a "Bambi"; talk about taking heat at 16? OUCH!
I remember when I was a little kid and we would go to WBCCI rallies.
We were the only young ones travelling with our parents. Anyone our age was there with their grandparents!
We did get a lot of attention and I still have my little blue beret and name tag!

That is great. My kids are loving the a/s and camping in general. I remember that it was a big part of my childhood, and I want it to be for them also.
One really interesting thing has happened since we bought our airstream. My dad, who always considered getting an a/s but opted for others, is as excited or maybe even more excited about it than we are. And that is saying a lot since we are extremely excited.

I'm only one year older than my Airstream and could use an overhaul too.

I just hope...

Older than I look,
Old enough to know better, but
Young enough to never think like I'm old...
