Resistance is futile!!
Hi,
My name is Marie,
I am a user, fixer, dreamer, dreamer, (oh, I said that), and it has been 3 weeks since I helped buy one.
I do not want a cure.
Marie

I purchased my silver palace on May 3 and am using it for my business travel. Since then, I have spent 34 nights in the Airstream and 7 nights in my home in Florida. This unit is getting a serious shakedown cruise.

My next favorite preoccupation is dreaming about alternative interiors. My thoughts run to the extreme creative and artsy versions I have seen on the Internet. But that is way down the road. Right now I am enjoying it "as is" and thinking about how much I do NOT miss the Extended Stay America.

Well, it is most definetly an "Airstream malady" which is not limited to it's vintage years. It is highly contagious and uncurable to all years alike.

The proof?

We bought NEW because we believed we were USERS and didn't want to be fixers. Yet in this first year of ownership we have not spent a day in it without FIXING something.

Hi. My name is Terry, and I am an Airstreamer. It has been 4 days since I have Airstreamed. My addiction started small, but I have wanted more and more Airstreams. I know I can stop any time I want, I just don't want to...

My name is Roger. I've been an Airstream addict since I was 12 and sat in a Caravel. I denied that I had a problem for years. I've only had six Airstreams since 1987, but never more than three at a time. I can quit any time I want. Really. No problem... I've got this under control... I just washed my Airstream... gotta load it in the morning... but I can quit any time I want...

Armchair Airstreamer

I was a Looker for years as everytime we drove past an AS I would quickly announce, "AIRSTREAM!" Then I progressed to Dreamer and now since we got our first AS one month ago I have become mainly a Fixer and a weekly User. I am forced to spend my weekdays dreaming............

So my wife and I had this discussion a few months ago. Do we (I) want to spend my time fixing up an Airstream or using it. We had a Caravel in good shape but wanted something bigger. Hands down we wanted to use it. So the next one would be near new conditon, ready to go. May 1st I picked up a 59 overlander that is a basket case inside. Typical human being behavior. But it will be fantastic.
