I see two others in our rural community area so, no, we are not alone. Another one, a vintage GT, just disappeared from a driveway in town one day. Sometime I should stop and ask. Hopefully someone in the family adopted it. On every country drive, I'm rubbernecking, trying to spot that Argosy or old GT or Caravel behind a barn, but so far, no luck. ~G

Not sure how to vote. Like was said above - define neighbor.
No immediate neighbors, there is a dealer within a mile with dozens of A/S trailers, does that count?

until recently...

Right across the street from me, neighbors just sold a '71. They had it on their property in Calaveras County and needed the money, to their credit they had a hard time letting it go...

Other than that, I see very few around here, but then there's precious little driveway room in my town.

No dealers, no Argosys, no Airstreams. I travel a lot and look all the time. Sometimes I get excited just to find I've spotted a large propane tank. Since I travel a lot, I have seen a few AS and one Argosy, but they were all a long way from being neighbors.

Hi everybody,
There used to be a newer AS between our home and my office (about a 2 mile drive) at a golf course maintenance bldg. Was there about a year and disappeared and now SOB is there. I am always on the lookout in driveways and garages/barns for classic cars and Airstreams. More old cars around these parts. Rarely an old AS. Oh well, I'll keep looking!

None of our neighbors own Airstreams, but one of our neighbors allows us to park our Caravel in his driveway. Pretty nice of him!

Depends on how you define "neighbor". Several forums members live within a few miles of us, but we are now alone in the storage lot of many hundreds of SOB's. The Airstream dealer is across the street from our new place, so I get to see several every time I pull out of the driveway.

There's 3 other Airstream owners in the county I live in. I've stopeed and talked to all 3. I'd be nice if they joined here as well, I've given them the URL!! --dave

I've never seen another one around my home, parked or on the road. The original owner of mine used to live just a few blocks from me, though.
