When I'm with friends at a rally, ALL my neighbors have them!

At my non-rolling home - there are no Airstreams in the same town, but it's small <5,000 people and less than 1 square mile. I do however have "neighbors" within 1-5 miles that have them. I count those folks amongst my friends ~

Just one other in our small town, An 80's 30 or so footer that was left to them by family and has been for sale for quite a while. There is a late 60's tradewind the gentleman bought off of ebay a few miles from me.

Wade Thompson lives across the park from me - he owns a few ;-)

Other than that, no neighbors that I know of.

We just noticed this week that one other person in our town owns a vintage trailer. From the road, we can only see the back half of the trailer and it looks like a 1960's era Safari or Tradewind.

I' m alone...
sure, we 're only 10 to 15 to own an Airstream in Europe and a lot of them are used in a commercial way. so very difficult to have a neighbor who own this caravan... but I'm patient .

But they are strategically located in "storage" lots all over North America.

Well Tincrew (and sandiegan), if this looks familiar:

then you might be my neighbor!

There's also an Argosy MH a block away, and a cool older vintage (flying cloud, maybe?) about six blocks away. This later unit is primarily resonsible for my wife agreeing to us getting into the Safari in the first place ("that's so cool!")

Cheers,
-jd.

There are only 2 in our small town, ours and the other one is a 71. When I spotted it in a driveway I had to stop and talk to the owners (of course) and welcome them to Airstreaming. We are covered up with all kinds of white cracker boxes.

On our short street there are 2 SOBS. In fact, just last night, our neighbor traded in their 24 foot box for a 29 foot sled. It is HUGE!!! Master bedroom, huge bunks (double bed size), slide-out with a dinnete and couch, and cubby/hook-ups for 3 televisons- who needs 3 Tvs while camping?????

Anyway, it will be the party trailer (read: trashable)- kid's hang-out- when we join them down the road next week!!

And our little dahling will stay nice and unthrashed!
