Question Winterizing Argosy Travel Trailer

I found my fresh water system would not pressurize when I attempted to winterize my 1987 Argosy TT this season. I normally do not blow out the lines. I just pressurize and run RV antifreeze throughout the lines. The bypass valves are in the correct position and all faucets are closed. Any ideas???? By the way, no leaks on city water.

Thanks in advance!!

Pump runs OK. Just doesn't pressurize.

I know you said no leaks, but sometimes the check valve in the female end where you attach the water hose can get stuck open and allow the system to lose pressure. Your pump could be bad also.. Take the line off the pump on the inlet side and turn the pump on. Use your finger and cover the inlet and see if there is any suction.

Winterized!!!!!

Had to:

Clean factory water filter (whew!);
Clean pump impeller screens (whew again!);
Reposition pump.

And in the dummer than dirt category, make sure you're hooked up to AC or have a fully charged batteries.

p.s. 23 degrees tomorrow night
