Will be dropping off my Minuet...

next week at Walt's in Ocala, FL. My plan is to tell him to look everything over and let me know what works what dosen't and how much each item that needs fixing is going to cost.

Am I setting myself up for trouble? I hear nothing but good things about him and his work. I'm speaking of major things such as propane lines, oven, a/c not stuff like door handles, cabinets and such.

I do know I need a new axle and my fresh water tank does not leak.

Any advice before I drop her off for a makeover??

Thanks gang.

Walt is about as straight an arrow as they come. He is a member of our WBCCI unit, and very knowledgable about Airstrreams.

Walt is honest, reputable, and fair. He'll treat you right. He is not your average mechanic. He's old school. You can actually trust him. I've used him twice with good fair results. A+++

overlander63..

I would like to know more about Walt's in Ocala, does he work on Airstreams. what is he capable of doing, where is he located exactly? I live about 25 mins south of Ocala, we just purchased a new 25' safari FB. We bought it in Ft. Myers, but...that is just too far to go for repairs and warranty work. And... Sanders in Alachua won't take us because we didn't buy from them, they say they are just too booked, they only take their customers. So...just nice to know there is someone close to us that is able to work on AS, if we need work done. Thanks for your feedback...
