Question What's the largest Argosy built(alum.const.)

I'm looking for a large Argosy with panoramic windows on both ends. I'm hittn the road fulltime with my dogs, last was a 1976 26'. The sites we stay at have back in views. Need a rear lounge area side bath. Was this ever constructed? Thanks JOEY

The first year (according to my factory sales literature) for the Argosy (trailer) with side bath and rear wrap-around window, was 1976. I have literature for 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978, and 1979. The side bath was available only in 28' and larger Argosys (the largest being 30' in 1979). The only floorplan in the illustrations was a rear bedroom. Of course, there is always the possibility that an owner may have had a coach custome configured with a rear lounge, but this was far less common with the Argosys than with Airstreams.

I have seen at least one Argosy motorhome with the rear wrap-around windows and a lounge setup. I can't tell you what year it was nor whether the floorplan was original or owner-modified.

Good luck with your search!

Kevin
