We Got It ! !

We finally got our1978, 22 ft argosy minuet. Bought it from Jim and Phillis Rogers who are amazing! Made sure it all worked, repacked the wheel bearings and checked the tires. They taught us how to use everything, helped me change the cushion covers, taught mark how to drive it. It was TRAILER 101. We took it camping and Mark even backed it into the campsite. It was super! we had a great first voyage. Found a few little things that need to be tuned up but nothing big.

Silver suz asked me about OBX campsites. THere are some really good ones I hear down near Avon (close to hatteras) but we haven't been to any of them. go to and look on the message board. We are trying to go down to okracoke island next weekend. the national park is there and I'll try and check out the other sites along the way. See ya. Deb

THANKS a bunch! OBX Deb

Meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with ketchup.

Where did you get it?

Did you get it from here in Cape Carteret? I know where there is a good Argosy Minuet, all redone inside (denim blue), and it really nice shape. It's here in eastern NC. If anyone is looking for a nice little Argosy, asking $4900 but it's been sitting and I'm sure they'll come off of that, then let me know. I'm not too sure of the year.
