What are you looking for???

Hello, I'm the guy who posted those pics of the junkyard. Headed back within the month, I suppose.

I have some tambour doors that I removed from our 76 overlander, not sure if I was going to keep them or sell them. They are a light tan. What sizes do you need? and do you need the side track that they roll up in?

As far as door handles, that's a bust. I've been all over that question, but no luck....

Let me know. You can always call Colaw's, actually if you call information, the listing is under Colaw not Colaws...they take a while to get back to you, but they'll head out and check for parts.....

Thanks

Ron

latches for your trailer

There was a post some months ago (you'll have to do a search) where a member ordered cabinet latches from Inland and they weren't informed that they differed from the original. He had to file them all down to fit. Make sure you communicate clearly on the front end, in writing, with them so you know what you'll actually recieve. Best bet is to do what you're doing, find your model trailer being parted out, hit Ebay regularly, etc. Good luck.

found a source for TV Jack/2-prong adapter

Having recently acquired a 1977 Argosy 28 foot travel trailer (painted Airstream) hubby and I are having lots of fun exploring the net to find out more about our "twinkie".

It has an interior antenna base plate which requires a 2-prong tv adapter. I commented to my husband that that is a nearly impossible adapter to find and lo and behold he told me our local RV dealer has one.

I am sitting here with one in front of me. AND it was only $3.39 plus tax. They have lots more (they get them somewhere on the internet). They look to be made in late 60's - 70's because of the clothes and hairstyles of the family pictured on the front near an RV.

It is a Braund 300 OHM tv jack. It has a base plate and the 2-prong tv adapter. The recepters on our original unit are splayed so we are going to place the new recepters in our original base plate. The tv adapter will then fit snug.

The only available color is walnut.

If anyone has a need for one of these email me and I'll give you the info or for a small shipping/handling fee I could pick one up and mail it to you.

We bought replacement latches for the interior cupboard doors at Jackson Center, OH at the Airstream plant. They were pricey, but they matched the originals in our 78 Argosy.
