Update on Minuet Door Handle
3Ms75Argosy Hey Marc - Finally got pics of the door handle you sent, during our trip to Zion. You have probibly forgotten what your lovely aluminum baby looks like, so here is the result of Price's handiwork (actually, I don't think the pic does it justice!!)
BEFORE:
I'm going to have to try again. The picture is too big. Have to reformat. Sorry. Leigh

Got my pics back, time to show off!
Marc - I have not seen you post for awhile, but I will put this up hoping you will check for back postings soon. I had a terrible time trying to get you an opportunity to see how wonderful your discarded handle looks... and works!!! Thanks so much for responding to my call for help and not throwing that handle away too soon. (now we all know that nothing on our AS is too mundane to be a possible fix for others) We are still in love with "Mini" Leigh

Don't tell me!!!!
Don't tell me I'm the only one who can see these because I posted them??!!!!
The pics are in JPEG. We have them on an HPPhoto site in an album and I used the IMG button here to move the URL from the HP site. These directions came from a thread called "how to include multiple pics in a post" and I successfully moved one in another thread called "Sink - repair or replace". I must have, because other members have responded to that pic. I don't think I did anything different this time. Somebody else.... help, are you seeing the pics here???? Leigh
Wow, now that's really wierd! When I came on this thread to read latest post, the pics where there. When I replied to the post and pushed the send button they were gone and replaced with X's. How come?

Keep trying Leigh!! Like Cajun Man, Rob Scneider says, "You can do it!!"
That is one thing this forum needs, a test area. Places we can goof around and play with our sigs, avatar and such. I'm sure a lot more folks would try posting if there was such a thing. I stumbled around a bit on my first photo posts too.

I agree
Chas
That sounds like an excellent idea~!! Not only for the fotos but, when you're writing a reply...So that, when it has a hic-up, you don't lose all that work~!
Leigh, I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're doing(and, I'm not convinced that it's wrong either) but...since you're referrences to another site (hpphotos) why not just use the http:// or the browse insertion?? That way, we could just go to the site or view the pictures here..I'll be the first to say I don't know everything about how this site works yet..Most times I just "wing it"...lol
BTW, I tried to view them on hpphotos and, couldn't get in..took me to a log-in page...
I do see the big X's as well..
ciao

I get a login page when I click on your links. If it is a password protected page it probably isn't going to work.

John - Hope it wasn't a big hassle to post the pic. Did you get the BEFORE one when it was just a big nail? It looks so much nicer now!! And a heck of a lot easier to use!! We haven't gotten to do much to fix up our Mini, but it sure is the little things that can make a difference!! Leigh

I'm so glad to have the one showing the new handle here on this post, but it has been a loooonng road to you know where to learn about posting picx and now, by golly, i think i got it. Happy, happy, joy, joy. Leigh
