Therford to Valterra switching out parts

I went on one final camping trip, before having to put my 72 Argosy up for the winter. I notice a leak coming from underneath where the sewer hook up is. I am going to replace the valve, since it is the original one, and the 3x3 sewer tee. Has anyone done this using the Valterra valves, and replace the tee with one with the Valterra hook-up, so I will no longer have to use the adapter piece. If you have, can you tell what size handle extension you used too? Thanks in advance.

I had the same issue, but I found a Thetford and was able to use it. Sorry I'm not more help. If you can find the Thetford part, the repair is pretty easy. Basically kicking the can down the road for a few years

I also recall that Thetford makes repair kits. Go to Thetford.com and look up parts. If you can't find the part give them a call. They quit making the blade valve but I'm pretty sure they still have parts.

Thanks for all the help, the problem with Therford is you have to always order something, and that gets a little annoying sometimes... I am gonna try switching everything to Valerra, and see how it goes, will keep you guys posted!
