There is no Plate in front and nothing found on the frame, I just scrape. and put remover to try to locate it without success, you are my last chance to figure this out from pictures or anything you remember, the DMV will not issue a tag if I can not show where this Serial is located.

Thank you in advance for your help!.
The serial number tag on a 1977 model should be on the left front, under the front window, and above the fresh water tank inlet.

Growing up in Ohio as a kid, our next door neighbor's dad was an engineer at Argosy in Versailles. Didn't know much about what that meant at the time, but he was definitely the quiet, glasses-wearing, crew-cut, pocket-protector, slide-rule guy. I remember he helped me put together a beloved Verti-bird helicopter toy when I was like about nine years old.

And, FWIW, the locals pronounce it "Ver-sails"

Also, other nearby towns Bellefontaine ("Bell Fountain")
Russia ("RooShee") and Houston ("House-Ton")

I assume we adapted these interesting pronunciations to avoid any possibility of confusion with any other locations that share the same spelling.

I've got a 22 foot that's #558 with a date of June '72 so you have me beat. Am curious about your build quality. We've done a full renovation and were surprised to find so many things that looked like it was a "get done by noon and you get the rest of the day off" build

1972 Argosy Single Axle 20'

I just bought a 20' trailer, Made in Sept of 1972. I found it at an auction. It's 99% original. Build quality was outstanding, to have all the plastic pulls, drawers, lights, & appliances still @ 100%.
Only thing I can't figure out is how to dump the black tank. I've got one tiny t-valve in the middle of the back bumper that won't budge?
