Maybe an unofficial registry/record
Argosys were only produced during a specific time-frame in the 70s. Perhaps we (Argosy owners) should register them on our Argosy forum to see how many still exist.
Just an idea, looking for comments.

Welcome
Gypsy1, You have one of the older ones by serial number. I'm not sure if congratulations or condolences apply. Anyway... welcome to the forums. Ed

Not the oldest but still pretty long in the tooth
VIN#: 20D2V0252
1972 20' # 252
I have the original warranty and manual showing the original owners names at another location. I'll update this thread if anyone is interested
btw, there is a new paint job. See if you can pick it out from the Fall Vintage Camper Rally photos at Misty River Resort and Campgrounds. Here's a link:

Owner's manuals were available, service manuals were not. The closest service manual I could find for our '72 was a '74 Airstream service manual.

I'm confused; how do I have a 73 with a V in the title and others have 72's with the same designation?

The "V" stands for Versailles, Ohio, assembly plant. Most Argosy travel trailers of the 1970's, and all Argosy motor homes, were constructed there, along with some of the original Airstream motor homes. There are some later 1970's model Argosy trailers built in California, their serial numbers contain an "S" instead of "V".
Also, since Argosy trailers began production in 1972, and Argosy motor homes didn't start until 1974, "oldest Argosy" by definition would be a trailer.
