That brings back memories! It's been almost exactly a year since we picked up our Argosy in North Carolina and stayed in Black Mountain just outside of Asheville! Beautiful country, I love the Appalachians.

Replace all the exterior gaskets, especally the sewer vent pipe cover gaskets, which last less than 5 years.

Andy...
I agree with this thought but, I have this serious question..Instead of just replacing those gaskets every 2 yrs?
How about we cover the darn vents with a metal cap?
A design that allows the gas to escape and, yet keeps the sun's UV at bay..
Two reasons..
1. To reduce the sun's UV damages on the rubber seals..(they would last longer)
2. To provide a "HARD Cover" to keep out majority of rain water..
What do you think?

Something for me to think about making.

That is a beautiful part of the country. We found a very nice and friendly campground just west of Asheville, Creekwood Farm RV Park in Waynesville, NC. Pretty setting, clean and well-maintained, and just outside of the Blue Ridge Parkway/Blue Ridge Mountains.

found the campground on Rv park reviews....called Campfire Lodgings....really nice and really camper friendly.....It is so beautiful in the mountains here. Andy thanks for the advice.....we will be doing that on the next time my husband is off......have all of the gasket stuff; now have to do it....It has really gotten cold out here today.....have the fire already going for some heat.
