On my last cross country trip somewhere in GA (I believe) an elderly man was filling his car's gas tank next to me. The gentleman walked up to me and said "I like your Airstream". We began chatting about where we were coming from with the Airstream. He then said he had a '59, but had to sell it recently as he could no longer travel. We talked about some of the places he enjoyed with his Airstream. When he walked away, he gave my Airstream a loving pat on the rock guard. I could see that this gentleman loved his Airstream and saw my future self in his actions.
