*sigh* Anyone in NC need an Argosy?

So, over on my other thread I left off when we went to see the 1972 26'Argosy I found on Craigslist. Pics looked great, all sounded good...and, it was. Exterior seemed solid, interior was overall really good, the little shelf that holds the front gaucho was brittle, but that's an easy fix. The windows were in good shape, not broken, still functioned and opened, maybe needed some new gaskets (or whatever they call the rubber strip around the windows). I was pleased and the lady was ready to make a deal and come down to my level. My husband, however, changed his mind. Now, don't get me wrong, we came to an agreement, and I understand his fears, but Arrrrrgh! There will always be other things we can use the money for, there will never be enough time to get all the little things done that you want to do to the house, etc, etc, etc. *sigh* So, I thought I'd spread the word about the pretty girl sitting outside Winston-Salem, NC that's in pretty good shape, begging for someone to come and get her. I keep hoping my hubby will change his mind...

Sorry to hear of your aluminum annulment, have you considered the other kind?

I'm sorry to hear that! We bought our Argosy not knowing what to look for - we got really lucky. We love our trailer & can't imagine life without it. I hope you find something soon that you & your husband can both agree on. Good luck & let us all know what happens.

Nope, I've kinda gotten used to him. I don't think I'll trade him in for a newer model because I've become emotionally attached.

I know... most times it's much better to work with what you got.
Keep the faith...

My wife finally gave in after several months of ever so slight pressure (she will have a different version).
