Scrubbed the paint off

Have an argosy and was a bit aggressive with a stiff brush today while cleaning the winters worth of muck off. I noticed that there are a lot of places where the rivets are bare and shiney now.....What do I need to do now to protect?

Thanks

Dan

In most places on your Minuet you won't need to worry about bare rivets as they are aluminum and won't rust. The aluminum may discolor, but it won't produce rust. If the problem areas are on either of the endcaps, the problem may be a little different as bare metal on the endcap may have been left when the paint popped off of the rivet leaving the potential for rust -- should that be the case, wax would be the bare minimum remedy (a short-term remedy at that) -- touch-up paint would be the longer-term solution if the problem is on the endcaps.

Good luck with your exterior spruce-up!

Kevin
