The three-piece unit says "Rockguard, 3 piece for 1982-1996 narrow body Airstreams with the large Panorama windows. Individual sections available also". The lady at Inland said that the single piece unit is hinged at the top and can be raised to allow the front window of the Argosy to be used. They also sell the individual pieces of the three piece model, so I could just go with the two pieces to cover the curved glass and skip the middle. Any advice would be appreciated.
The Three-Piece Airstream Rock Guard for narrow body Airstreams is the easiest Airstream part to modify for our Minuets. The single-piece rock guard for the narrow-body Airstreams even if there were an easy modification process for its width still wouldn't accommodate the deep-wrap of the Minuet's side windows.
The second alternative for protecting the "unobtanium" deep-wrap clear wing windows is to pursue a "custom" fabric protector. There are several recent Forum threads on these fabric protectors, and I believe there is at least one supplier willing to produce them to his existing pattern.
Good luck with your investigation!
