A situation has come up where it looks like we can pick our inlaws '75 23' Safari. That means we need to sell the Argosy.
While it isnt in perfect condition it is in good shape and clean. We use it without any problems every summer. There are some issues that have arisen that need fixing but nothing real serious. I have made a number of fixes, upgrades and improvements to it.
The awning is only 2 seasons old and in perfect shape. I put a new floor in it and tiled it. The brakes have been redone, dump valves rebuilt, new gas tank and regulator, etc.
There are a couple small dents in the rear near the bumper and a number of scratches one would expect of a trailer this old.
So, what do you all think? Any ideas what i can get for it?

I havent yet. I was planning on it though. I wanted to get some good pictures to post with the ad.
Dont know if i am going to have time though. I went and parked it on my father's property near a busy road, behind a fence with just a sign and a phone number. That was four hours ago and three calls on it.

If it sells from sign in window, that's great, but the more exposure it gets the better the price you can expect. Listing here and Vintage Airstream Club (www.airstream.net) and maybe even rvtraderonline.com will generate a much larger potential audience.. Even at that price point someone might be willing to travel 500 to 1,000 miles for a clean Minuet, as not many change hands each year..
As a preference, I'd rather deal with live person than hassle of fraud and abuse that is part of E-Bay experience, but interesting option is to list on E-Bay and then cancel auction and deal with buyers who saw it there directly.

In Theory, there's no difference between Theory and Practice, but in Practice, there is usually a difference...
If the first few hours are any indication, it will be a busy week of calls asking about it. Which is good news as the sooner it sells, the sooner we take possession of the Safari.
