It greatly depends on your talent and tools on hand it took me and one other working on it full time 5 to 6 days a week about 2 months the final product was fantastic and I am not sure where I would go for a finished job with the detail and quality we put into it as far as our talent both of us are aircraft mechs and my buddy is a professional painter we totally dismantled everything then prepared all stripped the rig primer it 3 times with hours of slanging that sprayed the top coat and put it all back together you can find some pics of my 28 foot on this thread further back polished all the trim replaced all the rubber inserts, 2 years ago my trailer was destroyed and I have replaced it and need to do it all over again on my new one I have not started yet but doing my self with help I plan on about 450 man hours and $2400 in paint and supplies if you have the time talent and tools and a inside building to use it is a great feeling when it is finished Barry from Florida Good Luck

Thanks for this post. Your timing is amazing, as I'm restoring a 77 Argosy, and she needs a paint job. Lots of great ideas! I just need to decide which one.

It might not make too many purists happy but here's my 1972 double bed 24. Definitely turns heads driving down the road...probably not always in the good kind of way.

Cost

What would the cost be to repainted a 30' Agrosy, looking for a high end cost range.

Thanks

We are in Tennessee and I am trying to find a place to have our painted but am not having any luck. What sort of place did you get it painted at? I tried an auto painting place that has a good reputation here but they can't fit it. I tried an Airstream repair place in Louisville, but they don't paint exteriors since they usually work with the unpainted aluminum. Ours was painted solid white back on 2007 and not looking so fresh. We would like to change the color too.
