Have a 78 Argosy that I have done lots of touch-up painting on. You cannot tell the difference from the old paint and what I have done as far as color. I will tell you what has worked for me. I use an electric sander with medium grit, then fine grit to feather the edges, wash the trailer with Por-15's Marine Clean, rinse very very well, let dry, tape off everything I don't want painted. Then I put several thin coats of Krylon "Ivory Gloss" in the spray can on the trailer. Test to see if this color matches yours. It is a perfect match for mine. I have done extensive painting on the end caps, the dings on the front and the top. It has stayed on there with no problems for almost 14 months of hot Oklahoma Summers and cold winters. I gave this information to someone else here on the forum and it worked for them too.
