From your photo's, it looks like the axles are shot.

The following will tell you how to check them out yourself.

Keep in mind that torsion axles are weight sensitive, therefore when you load the trailer to be travel ready, the torsion arms will be higher than when the trailer is empty.

Why do you think this?

I read the article that you posted, and I am not sure from the photo, how you determined they are shot?

It seems like a stretch to me to make this assumption from the photo.

I'm sure you have seen lots of axles, and from this time period, you could make an assumption that I need new ones, but from the photo, I don't understand what you are seeing.

That is a nice looking trailer, and the photo with your Bronco made me wish I still had mine - that is really nice looking. Your experience with the Bronco matched mine - never had any problems towing my 95 21' A/S - with my 94 Bronco Eddie Bauer - mine was the Forest Green color. Does yours have the 351 engine?

I sold the Bronco and got a bigger SUV, but it had more to do with wanting 4 doors, than it did with any towing problems.

Happy Camping!
