Question Owners Manual for a Vintage Argosy

I just purchased a 1973 22 ft. Argosy Trailer. Any ideas where I could find an owners manual for the beast!?

You can get them direct from Airstream for about 50 bucks. I think Eb** has sellers as well. They are all copies and spiral bound I believe or else on cd.
Lets see some pics then, that is the custom on the forum you know
By the way...............WELCOME!

Thanks! I just pulled it home yesterday. It hadn't moved in 15 years, but there was still air in the tires and the wheel bearings were fine! I'll check with Airstream today for an owners manual, then I'll ger right on taking pictures!

Hello There. I have a similar question. I just purchased a 22 foot Argosy on Saturday. According to the placard on the front of the trailer it was built in November of 1973, so I assuming it's a model year 1974 trailer. The manuals from Airstream say they cover all the trailers "built in that year." So do I want the 1973 manual or the 1974?

I would say you want the one that the Vin of your trailer references. Do a search for VIN decoding or look it up at Airstream, you will get from the VIN all the relevant info about your trailer. Length, year bedroom and bathroom placement and where it was made, as well the number off the line.

I have a 1973 book but it has no cover, if either of you want it, PM me.

One of my clients was checking his newly acquired 31ft A/S for a manual and found a semi automatic rifle (circa WWII), sling shot and BB gun!

Having trouble finding my VIN. The placard on the front has a number on it but it doesn't match the format I've seen for other Argosy VINs.

Nothing on the tongue, bumper, screen door frame. Any other thoughts?
