Outside shower mod. On Argosy?

While fixing some very jagged tube ends for the bath sharkbites, I was musing on a modification to bring H+C water to an outside access point, like the newer airstreams, for an outside shower :has anyone tried that yet?

Had one installed on my 2003 CCD at Jackson Center when I had other repairs done. If you DIY it's not that an expensive a unit and comes complete with a template for the cutout. I had mine installed right at the kitchen sink to minimize the problems with routing the water lines - real simple for them once the hole was cut to tee off the existing lines. Their cost to me was $300 - the unit in white is available on eBay for about $160. It's an easy thing to do - care must be given to saeal the outside but the flange was over 3/4 inch wide - plenty of surface for sealant.

Hello Savage,

I put an outside shower in my 24' Argosy.
It's just a cheap plastic unit as found on new stick trailers.
But it works a treat.

There is a very rudimentary description on my blog here

Travels with Geordie: Outside shower

The trick was finding the perfect spot which in my case, 24 footer, was just below the counter behind the cabinet aft of the fridge.
Watch out for structural elements,...

Cheers
Peter
