Thumbs up Not new owner, but new thinking

A couple of years ago we found this 78 24ft Argosy in the storage lot of a campground that we like to spend time at in the summer. It looked pretty bad on the outside but the inside was pretty much unmolested and original, just dirty. At the time we were traveling in a Toyota motorhome so we bought the Argosy with the intention of just cleaning it up and keeping it at the campground, that way we could just drive up from Florida with the car stay in the camper and have the car to explore the area.
We sold the Toy and came up to the Argosy with the car, the Argosy cleaned up nicely, did all the usual stuff, remove old nasty shag carpet new floor covering fixed the fridge and stove and other little odds and ends.
Then with alot of reading on here our thinking gradually changed now we are thinking along the lines of maybe we should really fix her up,you know the drill, new axles, new tires, redo the plumbing and it really needs a paint job and as much as we like this campground we could tow it to other places we would like to visit and have the pickup to explore those areas!
We are now getting serious about some things that did not concern us when we intended to keep it in storage here and it would not need to travel any farther than from the storage area to the camp site and they do that towing So i am sure we will be on here looking for advice frequently and with all the knowledge available here we hope to make good progress and have her ready to travel for next summer.
