I would think its likely you could have breaks in all sorts of places if the whole system froze. Is it copper or pex? More likely to be the pump if all your pipe is Pex, I think Pex is likely to be more forgiving than copper (although a plumber can correct me on this). Wet under the pump suggests the water in the pump froze and cracked the plastic top to the pump. I have done that several times with my cleaning trucks. If its just a cracked lid, then there are replacement parts that can be bought. This was an easy fix for me when I split the outlet on my pump because of over tightening (lesson there) because we have all kinds of pump suppliers around us. If its a Shureflow then parts and repair kits are available, if its generic, just replace it and make sure the outlets match what you have as they can be male or female.
