New Owner of a 24' Argosy!

I have had this trailer for about 4 months now and have started some of the restoration. There are new cedar hardwood floors installed and the inside and been painted bright white! The trailer is a lot more than expected but I'm still chugging along..More things to come!
The big question is, how much time and effort is required to repaint this guy? If I do all the prep work myself, I have a friend that can do it for 1500-2000 dollars. Is this a reasonable price?? What have other people paid? Is it worth driving 16 hours (with gas money) to bring to Argosy here(I'm only in Albuquerque for 3 more months) to have it painted for this price?

Hi! Welcome to the forums! Nice looking Argosy! The painting price doesn't seem outrageous to me but I only have the painting price for Harleys and the polishing price for Airstreams as a comparison.

Not knowing enough to be afraid... (I know more than I did, but I did it anyway!)

Welcome to the forums and to Argosy ownership.

Someone has posted those same 3 pictures to Craigslist in Enid, OK as a "65 Airstream Argosy" offered for $3k. I noticed the ad yesterday, partially for the impossible model year.

Yup that actually me. I'm also thinking about selling it. I've been hopping around from city to city and its almost impossible to get anything done on the trailer. Then theres that other side of me that still wants to keep it and make it mine!

PS. It just a typo. 75 not 65
